Green Gargoyle should give you a little more length and sharper break point.

The cover on the SS is a little stronger.  I too have the same thing (both balls drilled pretty similar).  For me, the SS appears to read the oil a little sooner and is more of a strong arc in comparison to the Gargoyle.  For me, the Gargoyle is a more true skid/flip.  Because the SS seems to read the lane a little sooner, it actually has a few more boards of overall hook as well.  SO.......

Using the Gargoyle, if I am standing 25, looking to play 13 at the arrows and 7 at the breakpoint, I have to move into 27-28, play 15-16 out to 7 in order to use the SS.

I believe Steve should know pretty well how they compare.  Seems to me I remember him doing very well at Natl's a few years back with a Mean Greenie.  Yes Steve?

That is correct, Scott.  Just about all of my highest sets at the USBC/ABC have involved the Mean Green.  I would say that for a cranker, such as myself, you should see 3-4 boards more hook out of the SS as to compared to the Gargoyle.  For a stroker, it will probably be half that.
