Title: Need some suggestions.

I've been using the ogre solid and love the ball, but I'm more speed dominate as a bowler and like to play up the boards. I need something with more bite. What would you suggest to help with more oil. I know its not alot of info, but any suggestions would be great.

New Breed Solid , Gladiator Solid , Ogre Particle to name a few ..

I like the ogre solid and was thinking of getting the ogre partical. How much does it out hook the solid?

If you watch that video carefully, specifically when the two balls are overlapped,  you will clearly see that the Ogre Particle is played more left than the Solid and the same holds true on the Sport pattern.

My thought on that is if you pivot the break and move the starting position, then in theory, you are going to get a ball that's going to hook more....in general.

I've haven't thrown the Ogre Solid, but the Particle is going to be more aggressive and, as with the purpose of the particle....provide you with more grab in the oil when the ball meets the pins.

  I was thinking about getting the ogre partical. I didn't want something that hooked out the house, but something with a little more bite than the solid.


The video does make a good comparison. Thanks pegleg....
