New Video (Layout pics added)
« on: January 19, 2009, 11:10:36 PM »
Enjoy boys and girls.

I finally got some time to make a new video.

I do apologize for the lack of consistency on some shots, but I haven't thrown a ball for over 6 weeks. Besides, it was on a THS, and lets face it... who needs to be consistent?

How long have you been using the sarge easter grip ? In your old Ogre videos it looked like a normal grip.

I agree with gsback! He played different lines and the break point was similar or the same, but what do you expect on a ths? You'll get the same or similar break point, but your lay down point will be modified to allowed for different strengths of the ball. Plus, the drill patterns were similar and you'll get similar shapes! I appreciate the video and you did a great job on it, plus the bonus of the layouts! Just my $.02, Bruce

Been using the Sarge for about 6 months. It was out of necessity than want. Strained the tendons in my wrist and hand while at work, and this is the only way I could throw the ball without pain. It actually feels really good now. Dropped in weight down to 14lbs and with this grip, I can actually get more hand positions than I used to.

For the people that want to see it, I have made a video of my release.

very nice release, to me looks like your behind the ball and your balanced at the line. plus it doesnt hurt to have lots of revs!

thanks for the vids... sure the ths hides the differences between balls but thats what most of us bowl on enjoyable non the less.

o and your pap is very close to mine... mine is 4 1/2 by 1 1/4 up but i dont have all those revs you have.

I like keeping the layouts basic... Then I let the motor and the tires dictate what they will do.

For extremes, I will different layouts if I'm trying to accomplish a different look. EG: my SS (not videoed) is drilled 45*x4" with a 30* VAL angle.... HUGE backend movement for getting real deep.

About 5 mins... Sanded up to 4000 then hit with Bean Secret Sauce... Polished quite easy.

Not as glossy as a reactive, but it's shiny enough
