Observations regarding the Burgundy.

Those of you out there that have thrown this ball, I'm wondering...  Has anyone had the feeling that you were throwing a reincarnation of a ball you've had in the past?

What brings this up is as I get more time on the lanes with this ball I found myself constantly comparing this ball to the Jade Quantum.  A little more length maybe or could just be the pattern and conditioner.  The thing that really struck me was how the surface of the ball "scuffed" where the ball makes contact with the lane exactly like my old Quantum did.  While the surface seems a little more tunable than the Quantums of old, I found it interesting how similar the characteristics between these two balls were.  I am familiar with the differences in the weight blocks but the similarities on the lane are really amazing.

This is not a bad thing for me as I really liked pretty much the entire Quantum line when they were still in production.
