Well, after looking at several different companies and talking with people from different companies, I have decided to go with Visionary and the Platinum Test Staff.  Jim, Jason and Betsy have been super helpful, quick to respond and VERY nice.  Their customer service sold me on them just as much as their lineup did.  Never did an e-mail go unanswered and they were very helpful and knowledgeable.

In addition to the 4 balls with the Platinum Membership, I made my first purchase as well.

I am picking up the following balls:

Frankie May
Ogre Solid
Ogre Purple Pearl
Blue/Green Centaur
Slate Blue Gargoyle

I think these will definitely cover anything and everything I should see.  I am VERY excited to try these balls and push the Visionary name around these parts.  Thanks again to Jason, Jim and Betsy!!!

Welcome aboard!! I am also a new test staff member and agree with what you said in regards to Jim, Jason and Betsy. All conversations had with them were helpful.

I picked up the Immortal Solid, Immortal Pearl, Frankie May and Slate Blue with my membership.

I had already purchased an Ogre and a Bronze Centaur.

Good luck with your new toys!!

Umm...deadmoney...do the math:

$500 buys you the Platinum Test Staff, and...

50% off pro-shop pricing on suggested retail for balls = which means that an Ogre (suggested retail of about $150 or so, I think) for example, costs $75 or so dollars, $25 less than Buddies.

30-50% accessories, shirts, bags, etc. = more money saved in the long run

Free Shipping = more money saved

PLUS YOU GET 4 BALLS, 2 SHIRTS, 1 TOWEL, AND A 3-BALL ROLLER BAG!!! = this has to be worth around $125-150x4 ($500-600, using online pricing estimates, not what you would actually pay in the shop) + $30-40x2 ($60-80) + $10x1 ($10) + $165x1 ($165), which equals (assuming the lowest costs guessed)...$735!!!

You save around $235 + whatever you spend over the course of your membership.

The Visionary Test Staff doesn't get enough exposure -- it is the best deal out there that everyone can use.

Note that other memberships exist, starting at $100.  If you buy a ton of balls, then why not get a discount, especially from a great company like Visionary?

Well, I used online pricing, to prove my point even further.  No matter what, I am sure you save money.  If you use your new pricing, $230 a ball, you end up saving $655.  Now, I'm not so sure on the actual pricing used, and I am not so sure that you would save that much money, but...for somebody with money in their name, you of all people should get that money is money, and having more money, and spending less money, is good, no matter how you cut it.

Well you are continuing, though, to leave the four free balls out of the equation...that's where you really start saving the money.

It would be nice to know though just how much, etc.  I'm peacing out for now.

I can't go into detail on the prices, but I can definitely get them less than anywhere else (proshop, eBay, etc.) with the program.  Of course I jumped on it because of the GREAT initial deal, but I have already used my savings to get another ball.

I priced several companies trying to piece together a good 4-5 ball arsenal, and I couldn't find anything that looked like they filled all the holes like Visionary could.  Everything seems to complement the other balls.

After getting the tremendous customer service, I HAD to go with Visionary.  You know the old adage "If they are this good to me before I am a customer, just wait until I am a customer".

I am very confident in my decision to go with Visionary and I can't wait to visit Steve (tekneek) and have him drill up all my new toys.

Deadmoney, I'm a platinum member. We are able to buy them at the same prices the pro shops pay for them, cheaper than what buddies sells them for.
