Trying my first Visionary

I just bought a used Ogre Pearl (purple) from Rock77 on here. The pin is roughly 4 3/4" from my PAP. What are all of your thoughts on this ball?

Like mine more each time I pull it out of the bag. Icewall nailed it.

this is definitely my go-to ball. it will most likely become your benchmark, as it has silky glide through the heads, reads the mids almost like it has particle, but then saves it for a big, controllable pop on the back. it's got that rare combination of control and pop/power. plus, the hit and pin action is easily on par/better than anything else out there.

the coverstock is also very durable-i have next to no track after many games and the ball absorbs a LOT less oil than most things out there today.

yea it really is a unique ball. I too cant see any track on my ogre pearls (both blurple and ss).

id say you hit the nail on the head. it reacts in the mids like a particle ball only it has the pop/snap like a reactive. I love my blurple. hmmmm... makes me wish i had one polished and one at 2000 grit. its just such a reliable ball.

Great ball....you will not be disappointed one bit.

I remember when Ebonite bought Hammer and came out with the Blade Reactive.  I thought that ball was the best bang for the buck.

Once I bought this.....my thoughts are now this is the best ball for the buck.

As many have said, strong in the mid and backend.
