I can't look at the pic. Can you tell me what core is in it? Also, is it solid or pearl? Thanks.

taylorj99, not sure why you can't look at it....might be something on your side as others can see it.  Shoot me PM with email and I'll see if I can forward you pics if you want.

Joe, I think this will fall into the same category as the NB Solid.  I love the look of that ball....and the OU is the same.....very nice look.  Just like what mainzer said....cool!!

Definitely reminds me of the marble looking balls of yesteryears....ok....way back when!!  LOL

Sorry....not going to drill this one up....at least not yet.  I am taking a much needed break for the summer and will get out a couple of times.....so the only thing getting drilled is the Immortal Pearl.

I honestly don't know if it will be drilled.....I have a Blue/Green Centaur that sees little to no action....and that would be used before the OU.  I bought the ball in an effort to support Visionary because of what they are and what they've done for my game thus far.

Do we have any idea how strong this ball is going to be? I mean the XXL and Liberator from Lane 1 are way stronger than any urethane needs to be.

The Slate Bue Gargoyle was fairly weak compared to the Lane 1 urethanes.

Any idea where the Ogre is gonna fit in????

Doug,
I think that I remember Jason saying on here that it is a Hard Urethane with a "milder" core than the Slate Blue. I do not think that you will see near the backend reaction out of this Ogre as you do with the Gargoyle.

i wish someone would post a video of the ball. i have the slate blue wondering how it compares ?
Title: Re: Ogre Urethane is here

I have the Ogre Urethane drilled identical to my Blue Green Centaur. When I am going flush with the Blue Green, the Ogre Urethane is hitting the 2 pin FLUSH! Ogre is factory surface, Centaur is at either 2000 or 4000 abralon, no polish.

I had the Slate for a time, no comparison. The Ogre is CLEANER through the heads and needs friction to even think about turning over.

For what you said to take on meaning, you should tell us if you're right handed or left handed. The difference is significant.

This ball is a WINNER!!!..........If the contest was the the ugliest ball in history.  This thing fell out of the ugly tree, and hit every branch on the way down.  Wow.

I haven't looked in the Hammer section, but did you post something similar about the Chalk as well??

Not that Visionary created the Ogre Urethane to look anything like the Chalk since the Chalk was approved well after the OU.....but I would think you'd have a consistent opinion if you are going to voice it in one place.

Thank you. Now I get the picture.

I thought this might be the relationship between those two balls, given what Jason had said about it.

What the heck is that suppose to mean?  Someone has an opinion on a ball color and you think they are a newbie?  Please engage your brain before you type.

I asked Jason today about what he thought the difference would be between my Glowing Amulet and an Ogre Urethane and in all honesty though he'd love to have me buy a ball he said not that much.  That is what I had believed from the start after charlest and I talked about it.
