Ball performs excellent on medium heavy oil conditions.  As you would expect from an aggressive coverstock ball, the GG will give you a strong, smooth arc to the pocket.  Hit and carry are above-average.  Definitely not subject to over-under problems as it will already have made its turn and be most of the way into its roll by the time it hits the dry.

The GG is a dirt magnet.  I called mine "Pigpen" after the character in the Peanuts comic strip.  Seemed like all I had to do was take it out of the bag and it got dirty.  I found that going over the ball with a scotchbright pad along with any typical household cleaner (Simple Green, Lysol, Greased Lightning, etc.) usually got the coverstock looking like new again.

It's a fun ball, easy to shoot high scores and people love how it looks.  Good luck!

Cinch,

Talk with Spike2112 as well as he's got one.

I've never thrown one, but it's not the type of ball you are going to send out throwing 20 out to 5 to watch it come back.  Guy in out league has one and he's a down and in player.  Ball really hooks about 10-12 boards and he's got little to no hand.

There are plenty of other balls to throw by Visionary that are going to score.  Part will be the match up to you and to the lanes though.

I have a GG and it's a very useful ball. It needs oil to perform in a dull finish. Personally, I rarely saw enough oil for it when it was dull. I had success with mine highly polished on a wet dry pattern. Start it in the oil and bounce off of the dry without over reaction. I just had a basic label drilling on mine. A good control ball polished.
