threw them both tonight the violet is awsome completely diff look than my g3 it starts a hair earlier and has  a controlled arc to the pocket stronger than i was expecting

the slate is such a neat ball i was amazed that the ball still hooks a fair amount it is still to strong to go up 8 with but a nice small 18-22 swing this ball is money i think this ball is gonna really shine at my home lanes i was on synthetics tonight that had a fair amount of oil so i think at home this ball will come out about half way threw the 2nd game and will finish off with it

over all i am very impressed thst both these lower priced balls hit and carry just as good as my g3 and all 3 of them really complement eachother very well I am looking forward to the 3 others that i am getting ready to order the green the frankie may and the amb partical and then my arsenal will be complete so happy i got rid of the black widow and the one visionary is a far superior product to those two i had already

The older pieces work better than any of the newer stuff for me.  With the exception of the FMG.  New stuff to much hook more for fluffers IMO.  These older pieces work for more folks that I know.

A friend of mine (who is a 200 average bowler) had the AMB solid and the Frankie May drilled up abour 2 weeks ago and he used them last Monday and both of them hit like a marshmellow. I was very unimpressed with both of those balls. He had them both drilled stacked (pin up) or similar, but for whatever reason that pattern did not work for him..

really jkiser i have the 3 and my buddy has the amb solid maybe the stacked drilling is making them roll out in the pocket because the solid i threw hit hard just like my gargoyls and my gryphon

one thing i can say is I havnt had any of mine rolling out but my g3 will cover more boards and conditions than I was expecting this thing out hooked the widow i got rid of by 5 boards this ball is great the violet and the slate really give me options and i can believe how hard these mid-lower priced balls hit i dont see any diff in hitting power fron the g3 to the slate to the violet they all hit great and carry better than any storm brunswick track roto morich ebonite or hammer that i have owned oh yeah columiba too I buy drilll 9-11 balls a year for myself so i try them all this company really has something going for them.
