Title: Pretty quiet around here, whats everyone up too.
Post by: Matt C on July 03, 2013, 09:00:06 AM
My PBA league folded after 1 week, people around here do not wanna push themselves at all.

Got word that the Gladiator Series is just a overseas version of the Classic,  Tho they did produce a pearl, and what looks like a solid version of it.  They did not say if we would be able to get a Classic in either option this fall.

Matt, could you clarify what you mean by the Gladiators are overseas versions of the Classic?

The Gladiators came out here in the States way before the Classic was released so I am confused by what you posted.

I can believe that your PBA league folded like that.  We used to have a sport league here in the winter, but could not get enough bowlers last season so it is only run for ten weeks in the summer now.  Ten weeks is not long enough to see enough patterns unfortunately.

There are two more, the Gladiator Wrath Black and Gladiator Wrath Black Pearl, that were USBC approved in June.

Ah, okay, thanks.  Not the Gladiators I was thinking of.  Something new.

Guess i coulda made that a little more clear  ;D

My classic is my go to ball for the medium to med light condition, and a straight pearl might be something I would consider.

And yah, week 1 23 people showed up for a singles PBA league.

The composite average for the week was 175, and people were crying like babies.  (mine was 189, not horrid for the first time on a true sport shot.)

The next week 5 people showed and they just called it quits.
