Solid Immortal Question
« on: March 02, 2007, 02:02:11 PM »
Any tweeners like me with medium speed layout an IS with 6" pin to PAP MB right of thumb and have reasonable success on a medium THS?  Too weak or good strength?  I'd like to use some stronger stuff but oil embargo in my area doesn't allow it.  Stats. in my profile.

Thanks!

On edit:  Should have said pin up above middle finger.  Any good layout suggestions that may have worked for you are appreciated.  Looking for similar stat. type players that may have drilled an IS near the same way.

Thanks TrimMan.  Gives me an idea what the possibilities are.  I want to get rid of some of my other medium-heavy balls and the IS with it's flare potential is something I am considering with a long pin to PAP layout.

mine is drilled 3 inches pin to pap and mass bias below thumb.it still has good length for a solid and a nice hard arc on the backend.

Your stats. or best guesstimate crazyyankee?  Pretty strong layout there.

scotts my pap is 5 1/2 over 1 inch up.mine is 2.5 inch pin 3 oz. top.

our house shot is synthetic.med-heavy.32 feet blended to 38 feet 50-60 units in the middle 8 to 8 and 4 units 8 to gutter.i can play deep with it or up the boards with it.its strong but a very controllable one.
