Good place to buy
« on: October 05, 2006, 07:26:27 AM »
I am thinking about trying some of the Visionary equipment. I am using a no thumb release now due to surgery and looking for a 14lber. Where is a good place to buy them and a good recommendation for a first piece? I was thinking either the Granite Gargoyle or a Frankie May Gryphon.

Right now my specs are a lot different than my profile. Really high track clip outside of middle finger and about an inch away from thumb, a lot more revs than before but still not like some crankers that I see, speed is around 15-16 at pins with a 45° rotation and very little tilt. I release the ball a lot smoother no thumb and get lower than I ever did throwing normal. I throw on an oily THS lots of oil in the middle and dry outside. My Tsunami will over react if I get it out to early with too much side rotation and it is a very smooth ball normally.

Thanks,
Mike

Right now I would be looking for prices. I am throwing 15lb equipment and need to look into 14lb. If I could get a deal for my Super Carbide for a NIB Granite Gargoyle that would be great otherwise I would entertain other otions. Let me know.

Thanks guys for your replies. I ended up getting a Roto Grip Saturn from Doug Sterner for the trade that I had going with him. I will probably get an XXXL and a Roto Grip Mercury to go along with it. I still might get a Granite in the future but not right now.

Thanks again,
mike
