Violet, followed CLOSELY by my Greenie. I wouldn't trade my Violet for $250.I also have one NIB in garage.

Granite Gargoyle, very controllable, predictable, great carry, and reliable even on every sport shot I threw it on. "and its fuzzy"

To many to say....older stuff DC Tour and Granite for me.

Newer stuff hard to make choices as Visionary makes so many different pieces to cover a gamut of lane conditions.  Ogre Pearl, Violet and B/G Centaur would head my list of must haves.

Granit for me, but I did get to demo a bunch of new stuff at the TCBA All Star Tourny at Forum Bowl in Grand Prairie last Saturday with Jason Wonders watching and advising. The Gladiator Solid is the ball. This ball maybe the best benchmark ball I have thrown, it was smooth as butter and as predictable as a Detroit Lions game. I can't wait to get one. Threw two, one pin under middle finger mb swung 2 in from thumb, 2 was stacked with the pin above ring. Both reacted smoothly and hit well. Poor Jason, I thought he was going to have a heart attack when I dumped one of his Gladiator Pearls in the gutter twice in a row.

OGRE SS! Its the one ball im glad i drilled pin down. makes it playable even when there is oil out there.

I love all my visionary equipment and I get more often then not a better reaction from my other visionary balls but for some reason the ogre ss carrys everything... light, high, brooklyn, and even sloppy. somehow all ten go down.

Although I've thrown many, there are a few that really stand out:

Granite Gargoyle: This one was the first Visionary ball I threw, and made me realize what a diamond in the rough this company was.

DC Tour: I was just hoping that I could fill a spot in the bag with this one, but it is unmatchable in carry and consistency from shot-to-shot.

Purple Ice Executioner: Yeah, might be one of the only showing love for this piece, but it might just be the best Particle Pearl bowling ball I've ever thrown...and that's my coverstock of choice ( HINT HINT Mr. Wonders  )

Big Willy Style

PS...also had to throw in the Glow Amulet, for the pure genious that it took to make a ball that actually glows, and isn't just blacklight responsive like all other "glow balls."

I have to go with the Violet.  It reacts like a hybrid solid/pearl with the the controllable back end and snap I get from it.

I only have owned 4-5 Visionary balls but, by far my two favorites are my Charcoal Executioner and the B/G Centaur.

This pair just work so well in tandem for me.  I like to swing the ball a little bit in a nice arc to the pocket.  The Charcoal lets me do that and its very smooth off the break.  When the lanes start to breakdown I can switch to my B/G and mvoe to more of a down and in line.  I've shot 700 with both and have been very pleased.

The only thing wrong with them is they don't make em anymore.

For me the Solid Gladiator is as close a ball as far as ball motion and the ability to play the same lines in 2008 lane conditons that could be compareable to the Char Ex from earlier 2001-2003 time frame.

B/G Centaur is still around and as of right now you can still purchase them.  B/G is still listed on present equipment line.

The Violet Gargoyle is also my all time favorite ball (not just from Visionary).   I have had more success and comfort with that ball that just about any ball I have ever owned, and it lasted twice as long as some of the stuff I got from the bigger named companies.

Following the Violet I'd say I like my Granite equally when I can use it, then my FMG's.  I have 10 total from VBP, and 3 FMG gryphons.
