Scorcher vs Burgandy gryphon

Plain and simple whats better on heavy long patters with carrydown?? can the burgandy hold up to the scorcher on this shot?

Scorcher has the significantly stronger core BUT it is urethane based, with the particle embedded in urethane NOT resin, by VIsionary's own admission. It is one of the earliest grabbing and smallest hooking of the current oil-sucking particles.

The Gryphon is probably the more versatile and it should also handle heavy oil.

Both balls require a good amount of oil in the heads and the midlane to perform effectively.

Many people cannot mentally or emotionally handle how little the Scorcher hooks.  Funny that!

I agree charlest.  For the bowler that likes a straighter shot covering less boards on a flood you can't beat The Midnight Scorcher.  I love mine on that lane condition.  Carry is excellent!
