VBP in DFW area 5/15-5/17

Just wanted to let those of you know that are in the Texas area, more specifically Dallas/Ft Worth, that Jason will be in the area this weekend for the TCBA Nationals.  

Most of the time should be spent at Forum Bowl in Grand Prarie thought he may be over to RedBird Lanes as well.  Address information is:

Visionary sponsors the TCBA league and Jason and Willie Wells will be at one end of the house with a variation of VBP flavors available for testing.  This will be going on mid afternoon Friday through most of Saturday I believe.  I'm not sure what he's bringing down, but I know the New Breeds will be there for sure.

He may also have some price specials going on......not sure.

So for those of you that can make it, stop by and introduce yourself.  I'll be there as well so please let us know that you know him through BR.com as it's always nice to put a face with the names of people you meet through here.

I was at Forum on 5/14 and met Willie while in the Pro Shop. He was waiting on demo balls to be punched. He offered to let me throw the New Breed line that day. I must say I thought at first he was the typical rep trying to move product. However, I was wrong, he offered me tips on playing the lanes and explained the Visionary equipment in detail. It was a good experience for me and helped me over the weekend in Houston for the State Tourney. I also bought a New Breed Solid that day, that I will pick up on Tuesday.

Willie is a great guy in many ways.

I think you and others may see him as a typical rep trying to move the product....however I see in him passion......not for just selling a product...but doing something that he loves.

Willie worked 2 full days Friday and Saturday.  When they closed down the testing lanes, most reps are going to go home....not Willie.....he's spent the next couple of hours each day at the alleys watching people and talking with people.  That's the thing that's different....he's got passion for the game and it so happens that he believes in what he's selling because of how well he does with it.  Big difference!!

And you benefited from him taking time out for pointers which he did while he was there.

Anyone else stop by the days Jason was out there??

G, remember in my post I stated I was wrong about Willie. I need you to understand my situation of how we met. You walk into Rich's Pro Shop (Forum Bowl) and there are huge stacks of VBP gear. Then the rep makes an intoduction and it goes from there.

You are right it is a passion thing. Because not only did he work with me he worked with others on the lanes next to me. Letting them roll the New Breeds and explaining how it could work for them.

Hopefully I can run into him again in the future.

Agreed....sorry should have said that.  I read it before but didn't say more thinking what I typed was enough....my bad.

Overall, glad to see you got there though.  There were a lot of people that stopped by in the 2 days he was there.  No one really came up and mentioned being on BR....so don't know if anyone from here was there or not.
