To help Gene Kanak promote the Old School Open, I contacted all the ball companies and asked for any free merchandise they could send to help.  Out of all the companies, only two responded with help.  Lane 1 and Visionary.  The samllest companies out there.

Ritchie donated an XXXL and 5 Buzzsaw hats, Visionary donated an Executioner.  The other companies never even bother to reply.  I guess they have enough people using their products, why give anything back.

Thanks once again John for your generous support.  Actions like yours definately helps in my ball buying decision.

 Saving DT & Rotogrip for my tournament.

For those of you who may be new to the site, John Wonders sponsored a get together here in St Louis end of last summer.  10 teams, 3 bowling alleys, trip to the arch, trip to Bowling HOF, pizzas for lunch.  Didn't come cheap.

The samll companies are just more approachable, are closer in tune with the average bowler and don't mind helping us little guys out.

As you probably noticed, I'm particularly fond of both John and Ritchie.  Class acts all the way.
