OMG what have I been missing since this ball came out last summer. I have only used it two sets one on a blended condition where it was not optimal last Friday but this morning Tuesday on a ultra wet/dry house condition....sheesh what a ball. More bowlers should be using this ball on wet/dry THS if they want something that is smooth hits hard and has an ability to be very forgiving.
I will have more on The Crow as I get to use it more.

Yep, it is a great piece. The original Ogre core shape with different densities and the wrap....but all 4 balls with this core (the 3 Ravens + the Crow) are all winners. Jason did well.

It out hooks every other urethane that I have drilled, Black Hammer,Pitch Black,Pitch blue, all drilled the same. Ball is a strong urethane..Jason said it should start to tame down, I have about 20 plus games and it still want to hook..

640 last night in 5 man same house with wet/dry.. The Crow and shoes. I haven't taken one ball to a league in years. Missed one 10 pin. You won't have the ultimate carry as with reactive resin but you will be in the pocket all night long. I moved 3 boards left for the whole night.

This is true, it is a great piece. Nice bowling, must have made you feel good to bowl a nice set and not have to move the whole lane!!

Thanks JD. I should add a few factors one should consider when using The Crow. First you should have a Shammy to remove oil flare lines. A Shammy will perform better than a towel. Mine flares about 3"s.
I have not touched the surface but according to Jason it could be adjusted but overall I clean with Remedy RX after bowling and so far I don't see any needed surface maintenance. So, in the long run I see the need for less surface maintenance then resin. Resin for the most part needs constant surface maintenance.
Using the Ogre HDC weight block allows for a hard hit and better carry than other urethane balls that I have tried. I use 14 lb. 2.58 .048 with a 4.75" pin to PAP allows for a good 3"s flare with evenly spaced flare rings and better carry than any other urethane that I have tried. The OOB 500 surface still gets down lane on medium length house patterns with it's 2.58 Rg.

You are so right shammy works the best and fastest. Crow is a hard hitting beast, here is to continued success with The Crow!

It is a hook beast and easily out hooks and is earlier, than most of my reactives.
I don't have any urethane ball that hooks this much and has this much backend and I have the Black Widow Urethane, a Midnight Scorcher Particle urethane, Purple Hammer and True Motion.
The Crow should have been called "Black Death" and had a Cape Buffalo on it!
