Title: The One That Got Away
Post by: bcw1969 on October 17, 2015, 11:27:53 AM
Late last night, I came across a new ebay listing. Someone was selling an undrilled Midnight Scorcher. They claimed it was 15.5 pounds on their scale. The seller didn't seem like a "bowling seller", and since they were only asking 100.00 Or best offer, and it was free shipping...I thought I'd make an offer, figuring they wouldn't accept and then make a counter offer of a little less than the initial asking price , and then I'd jump....I never got the chance, I got up this morning and the offer was declined and it seems someone else got a great ball at a great price.  Not that I needed it I have 3 16 Pound scorchers--currently all drilled different, but the ball is soo unique and great on oil I wouldn't have minded even if the weight was a little bit less than 16, oh well. Here was the original listing--somebody got a steal

This may have been the last undrilled one left

Too bad you missed out on that.

I'm pretty sure that there are other NIB ones out there, just maybe not in 16#.  :)
