Title: Violet Gargoyle vs Blue Sparkle Gryphon: how did they compare?
Post by: charlest on October 17, 2007, 01:39:00 PM
Just in general,
- length,
- backend,
- overall hook,
- oil handling.
That sort of thing. Thanks.

The violet is more skid flip while the griphon had a very even arcing nature. The violet is overall a bit stronger. I liked the Griphon much better, but I have problems with balls with a lot of backend. The Violet will handle more oil. The griphon has to have a defined dry area to turn over.

I have a 105 deg. Violet shot my higest scores ever with it.  tonx has it down as far as reaction and ball differences.

Thanks, guys.
I was thinking of getting a Blue Sparkle "Banger substitute" but already had a NIB Violet that I got when the Gargoyles were discontinued. Thinking I won't do that now. Have enough balls.
