Title: Visionary Hatchling
Post by: akt22 on October 21, 2009, 09:22:12 PM
I was looking at the approved ball list and this was approved the same time as the NBPP.

Is this a typo or is it a new ball?

I looked over this forum and there has been no mention of it in any posts.

With the new NBPP, I would think visionary has nearly everything covered so what could this be replacing? Or is it some new line?

It is a spare ball that didn't make Visionary's quality standards.  You'll probably see some on eBay thru 2nd Gen closeouts.  There were only 100 made.

Ahhh, you emailed Jason!!

Ball will prove to be an interesting collectors item possibly!!  Supposed to be a unique looking ball....better than the current Gargoyle spare ball I think.

Might as well dispel any rumors before they start.

So that's what it is. Thanks.  It begs the question: what's the deal with visionary and spareballs?  Isn't the gargoyle similar to this?

I would love a spare ball that would meet visionary quality standards and look as awesome as the clear gargoyle.

I'll take a shot.

Poly spare balls are made in the Far East and no manufacturer can meet Visionary quality standards.

Depending on your ability....one could use an Ogre Urethane as a spare ball and kill two uses with one ball.  Dry lane and spares.

Don't know if this comment was directed at me but I'll reiterate.
