Tues. Nuttin' To Do
« on: September 22, 2009, 05:31:39 AM »
Nothing to do today.  Not much action on this forum lately.

What are the fellow BR Visionites using/doing lately?

Leagues have started now anyone shot anything of note?  Nothing here yet high games around 230 - 240 sing Solid Glad ( http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q29/scotts33/VisGladSolid.jpg ) if there is oil and there is little of it early in the season so I am using Blue/Greeen Centaur ( http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q29/scotts33/VisBlueGreenCentaur.jpg ) or Ogre Urethane ( http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q29/scotts33/VisOgreUrethane.jpg ).

I am bowling two 5 man hdcp. leagues this year. Wed/Thurs both at same house 40 lane house.
Surface 14 year old 1st generation Brunswick Anvilane few head panels replaced 2 years ago.
5 man teams Wed 10 team and Thurs 14 team leagues
6:30 PM leagues both following mixed leagues 3 person on Wed and 4 person on Thurs
Pattern is what I would describe at this point in type with warmer temps and humidity as a wet/dry wall 39' in length Kegel Offense. Starts as a low volume super dry condition outside...pulled shots don't hold in middle...shots outside thru the nose if playing track and get the ball to early to dry

I'd like to hear what others are doing Visionary wise and if you have any pics and/or lane conditions like to hear.

No leagues, no time lol.

I'm just waiting on the executioners to come back so I can make my return

Although I am thinking about the Gladiators.

I passed my DC Tour on to my cousin.  I figure she would like it seeing as it is pink.......

I always got weird looks when I threw it lol

For me the Glad P is like the middle of the road combo of the Char Ex and Crime Ex.  It has a very heavy roll through the mid lane and back but still has just the right amount of pop to enter the pocket at good enough angles to carry.

To be honest I like the Glad P better than either Executioner, might as well try one in 16lbs and if you don't like it you can sell it to me.

BLASPHEME You should be, you should be, well something should be done to you but I don't know what right now lol

There is no replacement for the Executioner.

So I take it the solid is just as strong if not stronger than the Char Ex?

Lucky for you that I still throw 16#, If I get one, I'll keep you in mind.

That's like waving a red flag in front of a bull!!!

I can see Anthony screaming, "Sold", in between the syllables, "Crim" and "Ex"!!!

Yeah, but you better hit the dry. When that coverstock senses one whiff of oil, it's skid city. Saw that with A_P_K's GG last Thursday. He broke up two 7-10s but not the third. Still it looked very good on that nasty 3rd game "pattern" (Ha!) up there.

You're right Jeff, I practiced with Steve Sunday and tried it.  The backs were slightly tighter than Thursday and you can see the GG stop a bit when rounding the corner.  I left quite a few ringing ten pins from that but didn't want to put the ball away it's just too much fun to throw.

I'll have to force myself to use the Orange or Glad P tomorrow.

Just remember to save it for no later than the 3rd game on Thursdays. Heck, maybe even the 3rd game on Tuesdays .
