This ordeal was very exhausting, but worth it in the end.  Knowing that he's healthy and home is a fantastic fealing.  The girls are loving their new baby brother.  They fight over who's gonna help bath, change and feed him.  When we were taking Zac on the 70+ mile drive back home the girls were in the back row screaming to see their baby brother.  When my wife and I explained that he had to remain in his seat until the car was stopped, the girls screamed "Daddy, pull over so we can hold Zac!!"  I was laughing but it was one of those candid moments that brought tears to my eyes.

Thanks amish, it's good to hear stories from people who've hone through this.  I gives us something to look forward to.  The doctors' say they're not sure if he'll have any long term troubles.  We're not too concerned with this as of right now.
