Visonary Test Staff??

I've been thinking of joining the test staff and have a few questions.
  1 Is it worth the $$$ to join the staff?
  2 Have you had any troubles with the gear or getting the gear?
  3 If I do join what level should I join?

Little back ground on me bowl 3 leagues a week, average about 195-205, and have never thrown Visonary before.  I do know some one that was on staff and did have some trouble getting the gear that he ordered.

bwlrjmp--I've been a test staff member for 3 years and feel it's worth it.  I do use other equipment also.  I joined at the gold level <2 balls, double bag not sure what else....I believe>.  Thing that stands out at this level is free shipping which makes the equipment very reasonable.

You can purchase Visionary equipment also reasonable at on-line sites like Buddies so the cost savings aren't as much as one would believe but again you're not paying shipping if a gold member.  It's probably a break even proposition for me as re-up is $50/yr.  

I like dealing with Visionary as a company very well run for a smaller company and they do their best on filling ball orders.  Better than most at fulfilling top weight and pin positions.  Betsy is as good as they come at customer service!

Best score last year came from a Visionary Violet Gargoyle...very good medium ball.

It's worth checking out.

Won the quiz last month, called Betsy, got my ball 3 days later. They hit like a ton of bricks, and even if you have to buy one they are more than reasonable.

Platinum member here and I truly think it amply worth it. For myself, I have found only one place that sells Visionary in my area and the mark-ups are insane. The prices on the equipment and accessories along with the free shipping definetely have made it worth it to me. Betsy is superior when it comes to customer service as well. As a sidenote, I became a member and began throwing Visionary in March. I've had 3 300's since with their Violet Gargoyle. More than worth it for me.....
