is this a type - o?
« on: November 13, 2005, 06:16:09 AM »
quote:
By combining a modified version of our DC core, a new fully adjustable reactive coverstock, and a price that's easy on the wallet, we have created a ball that is a must have for league bowlers. The Green/Blue CENTAUR was designed to easily get through the heads, start revving up in the midlane, and make a strong but controllable and predictable backend move.

Finish: 1000 Matte (Gray Pad)
Hardness: 75-77
RG: Med (2.61")
Flare: Low (.015" differential)
Length (1-100): 66
Back end (1-100): 81
Hook (1-100): 67 (oil) - 81 (dry)
Avail. Wts: 13-16# (Centaur core)
10-12# (on request - light wt. core)
Lane Conditions: Medium Conditions

.015?! man, that's a low dif, i guess that and the 1000 matte finish make the reaction that smoooooooooth

The ball does not & cannot flare. I believe that RG differential number is actually lower than a true pancake core. So you can't drill it weak or strong. All you can do is make it earlier or flippier.

The blue/green is awesome, used it for the last 5 games of a local tourny on the weekend on dry lanes it was unbelieveable. While everyone else was trying to loop the ball from inside I could play the track area with the blue/green no problem. I know a couple of my mates are going to order one as soon as they can.
