Do you realize that you posted this in the Visionary forum?
These days it can be hard to tellt he difference between particle and solid resin balls. It depends more on the ball than the type of coverstock.
If the balls are close in overall reaction, the particle is more likely to burn up sooner than the solid, but that is just a vague generality. It too depends more on the ball, all other factors being the same.

Now that's funny!!
Another funny story....was at one of the last PBA stops here a couple years ago and I think it was the Supernova that was being thrown by Ciccone....he's leaving flat 10s and throws the ball in his bag and called it a POS.
