Will Visionary be going back to the PBA?

Just wondering if Visionary will be going back to PBA status anytime soon?

Their reasons for not registering are just as good today as they were last year or the year before when they stopped being registered.  They'd have to decide that they lost more in sales than registration would cost 'em, and I don't see that happening.  Just guessing.

Where is Jason at on this quetion. We would all like to here his side now. Maybe since the company is growing and in a different spot then before. Maybe just maybe he will change his mind

Hello,

The possibility is always there, but up to this point, we have not seen anything that makes us feel like we made the wrong decision.  We are disappointed that PBA players can't use our equipment during regionals, but as of right now, the cost of registration still outweighs the benefits of being registered.

Hopefully at some point we will be able to work something out, but it just doesn't make business sense for us to register right now.

What's even better is that you can bowl the qualifying rounds for the USBC Masters, but once you begin match play the tournament goes from being USBC Certified to PBA Certified.  Yes it's true and its been confirmed numerous times.

So basically anyone qualifying with Visionary equipment is forced to drill up all new stuff and try to move forward from there.

Something I know Jason has shown concern about, but then again, it raises the biggest question in bowling, who truly is the governing body of this sport, USBC or PBA, the first paragraph leans toward the current answer!

Information for those of you who were not aware.

    The PBA has its fingers in a lot of tournaments, the Masters is but one of them.  I would disagree with them requiring approved equipment for match play, at least for non-PBA members.  I would understand, though I still don't fully agree, if they made a stink about the TV show and only allowing registered equipment.  They're footing a lot of the bill and managing pretty much all the production for the TV show.
