Title: what would you prefer?

So I was thinking about it, I know visionary is supposed to be comming out with a new spare ball in the near future,  but if it was our choice, what would they come out with?  in other words, they've had two really cool looking spare balls, the Amulet, and the Clear gargoyle.  would you prefer them to come out with a spare ball more like the Amulet? or more like the Gargoyle?  I'm kinda hoping they come out with a ball like the clear gargoyle but with either a gryphyn or Centaur inside of it this time .

I do not think they are coming out with another clear ball from the inpressions I have received from Jason Wonders.  He said they were trying to bring the Clear Garg out of retirement, but they simply could not get the cover right.  He said they tried over and over but it was not to their standards and therefore were not going to release it.

I would prefer the Clear Gargoyle as that ball looks amazing.  Do not get your hopes up though.  Maybe just an ordinary plastic ball like a White Dot but with VBPs touches to it if anything is what I see in the future.

I would prefer that, if they are going to make a SPARE ball, that it be a plain old hard plastic or urethane pearl and NOT some gimmicky, high dollar, clear piece of junk.

  Yea, they look cool, but I ain't into throwing some mythical beast at my tenpins, especially if it costs $100 more than a blue dot. Either one will knock down just as many corner pin spares.


  P.S. I would actually prefer that visionary stick to the great, high quality stuff they have always done and not get into the stupid, "clear ball filled with paraphenalia" contest.  The gargoyles, executioners, gryphons, and centaurs I have used have been some of the best quality and performance balls I've ever used.

WHat about bringing the Amulets back?  I would love to get my hands on one of those NIB for spare shooting.

For some reason my teamate from last year wants a clear ball with a dildo in it (he seriously does)??????? Do you think visionary will make it???????

Clear gargoyle.  I want one to sit (undrilled and never used) by my computer for decoration.  They look amazing!

Mexicans are dildos.  That is pretty funny considering there arent many meximelts over 5 1/2 feet tall.  They have overtaken the Northern Atlanta area and my being 5 foot 7, I have to look down at most of them.  There is an ongoing battle here between the Meximelts and the Rice Patties on who the turf belongs to.

Harry, the reddish colored Amulet was plastic and the Glowing Amulet was urethane (I believe).

Steve,

     I know how you feel about the Mexicans.  I use to live in Houston and they have taken over there.  Most billboards are in Spanish!!!!  Aaaaaargh!

Yeah.  It sucks here.  Even all the convenience stores like Quik trip have taken half their stuff out and replaced it with spanish junk.  The reason we are being overtaken is simply because we are changing everything to cater to them.  What is heck is our nation's problem?

How about an Amulet using an AMB core. That would at least be a stronger core to compete with the XXXL.

That would be pretty cool, my only problem is I haven't been a fan of asymetricals, but maybe something like the G-3 core or something of that nature.  I really don't care, I JUST WANT MY VISIONARY PLASTIC BALL!!!!!!
