which ball?
« on: January 15, 2004, 10:36:32 PM »
Alright im planing on trying out a ball from visionary in my next arsonel.  Right now i know that i am going to at least have a Track Mutant for heavy oil (cause i just won it on a raffle ) and probably am going to have a couple balls from Columbia just not sure which ones yet.  What ball from visionary do you think i should get for a good first impression of visionary.  If it was still around i would get a scorcher NPT but i guess its discontinued now.  im not planing on building my next arsonel for another couple months but im just scouting out balls right now.  so if you don't mind lemme know what ball you think would work best.  Thanks in advance.

Depends on what you are looking for.

I was looking for a replacent for my Rhino Pro T2, and X.
I found that the Executioner line gave me the same look
and feel as the Rhino's.

I also liked the DC Tour Warlock, but it is now discontinued

If you want a backend ball the Green Gargoyle is your ball.
I am not the one to talk on the Gryphons, but I hear they are good as well.

What type of reaction are you looking for from your visionary ball?

all my tech specs are in my profile.  sounds like the burgandy gryphin is more of a heavy oil ball and i'd be looking for anything besides a heavy oil ball

From reading your profile, and from what I think you
want out of a ball, I would suggest The charcoal executioner.

Seeing as you liked the extreme chaos, the charcoal ex will
offer similar flexibility. you will be able to polish it, and dull
it.  Keep the drilling mild and you will be happy.  I use a label leverage
on mine polished to 800/1000 I forgot which.

Also seeing as you were thinking about the NPT, I would think about the Green
Gargoyle.  It has the same core, but will go a little longer.  You could probably take the polish down to 1000, and get a similar look.
