Excuse me for living in a cave and my ignorance, but who the hell is Frankie May? Why does he deserve to sign his name on a ball?

Besides his bowling accomplishments and knowledge he is a great guy to talk to. I met him at the ABC Tournament in Baton Rouge. He was working the Visionary booth. He talked bowling and technology to us for as long as we wanted and was extremely nice.

He is an awesome guy to talk with.  I was struggling after the team event last year in Corpus.  We had to bowl the late shift for D/S.  Frankie was the only booth open late that evening.  I stopped in and chatted with him.  He changed the surface on my Vertigo and I proceeded to shoot 620 in doubles and 607 in singles.  If I would have had that surface in team, I would have hit 1800 again.

Frankie May is one awesome dude!

Frankie May runs the pro shop out of Berk's lanes in reading pa.  I go in to talk with him every so often.  He is a great guy and definitely is an expert in the game.  He sold something like 10000 of his signature ball to a distributor based in the far east because someone won a major pro am with it.  Trust me, he deserves his name on a ball.

A bit like Gene Stus virtually all his pro success was after age 50, got the 93 senior masters show on video where he owned and only just lost the final
