298 Game

Back a few years ago i bowled a 298 game and got a ring for it, this was when yaba was still around. But now since its USBC, i'm not really sure what the policies on getting an award? Am i able to get another ring? etc?

I've checked on bowl.com but can't really figure their site out.

Yeah i understand what kind of awards you get, but since i already got a 298 ring back when it was Yaba, and since i just bowled another 298 game just last friday, am i able to get another ring?

i believe you are able to recieve each award once a season.  say you bowl another 298, you will not get another ring, but you may get a plaque.  i had (2)299's last year and that's how it was.  i hope this is right.

Yeah thats how i thought it was, but with the new USBC, and since i didn't bowl the 298's in the same year, wasn't sure how that works out. Ill hear from our league guy that does all the awards and what not shortly anywho.

junior bowling is adopted thanks to the USBC the same rule that ABC bowlers have for honor scores. You can get one ring per year per award. So if you shot another 298 then you can get another ring, and wouldn't be able to get another 298 ring until september of next year when the new bowling season starts. Before it was one ring per career per honor score for juniors.

P.S. why do you want 2 298 rings? choker

i though with yaba that u had to pay for a 299 ring...i didnt think they gave u one..but yea usbc is cool...i shot my first 299 the first week of bowling..i didnt expect to get a ring then found out that i do ..i was kinda happy..lol..i want the new 300 ring tho...this may be my last year of jr and it sux that with yaba u only got one career ring..(i've shot 3)and the watches are ugly....lol but with usbc u get the same awards as the adults..
