Im trying to get out to the US to play in some tournaments.

I'll be attending Las Vegas for the invitational tourney, and collegate masters in may.

does anyone know of any other scholarship tournaments around the north east region of the US?(jbt, jst, ybt?!?)

We do have one here in montreal, that is hosted by a distributor. Buffa Open.
