Title: Anyone got a 298 ring?

I was thinkin about buying a ring for a 298 I shot a while ago, but can't find any pictures or a description of it. Anyone here have any pictures of one or know what they look like?

IF your talking about the YABA rings, i got a 298 salidium.

It looks just like the 299 shape wise and all, but the only difference is that the gem in the 299 is purple and The gem in the 298 ring is a dark black/very dark blueish color.  You cant see the gems inside like you can with the 299 and 300 yaba rings.

Sorry i cant get a pic of it though. Hopefully this will clear up how it looks if you need further detail I could send you a pic through email.

Try bowl.com, they usually have all of the ABC awards,
I know you may check averages, email rule questions, etc.

Haha well alotta the people around here can't seem to get 298s, and as much as I don't wanna be reminded of that massived tug on the last shot for a 6-10, it'll be nice to have in the collection.....besides, I ain't payin for it anyways.

I was proud of my 298 ring. It was the first time I had the front 11. No tug at all. I was taking extra care to NOT tug the ball, and to NOT get amped up. It must have worked - I left a 5-7 on the 12th shot! That was many many years ago, so what that ring looks like won't be much help to you now.
