JOG Qualifier Premier event coming up...
« on: April 30, 2005, 01:24:49 AM »
There is going to be a Junior Gold Premier event at Forest Lanes in Lake Forest, Ca. on May 15th. It is going to start at 5 p.m. So pretty much enough time to get there after the JST at Action. The cost will be $75, and there will be separate divisions for boys and girls. The format will be 6 games of qualifying, and then cut to the top 4 for boys, and top 2 for girls for the PBA style step ladder finals. 1st place in both divisions will get a spot for this years Junior Gold, and a $500 expense voucher. 2nd place boys will get $150 scholarship in SMART, 2nd place in girls will get $75 scholarship in SMART. 3rd and 4th place boys will both get a $75 scholarship in SMART. Additional payouts will be based on entries. If you win and already have qualified for this years JOG, then the spot will go down to the next person who has not already qualified, and you still get the voucher. This tournament is being held by Pat Danforth and Forest Lanes. I am just helping get the word out, peace.

Brian, are you going to the Mojave Invite on the 15th or to this gold event???
Well I cannot bowl this Gold event now, but earlier in the day is the final regular JST tournament of the season, so I am bowling that. I was planning on bowling the Mojave Invite till I found out that JST was the same day...so sorry. I know Josh Blanchard is going, so we got some representation' here from Cali.
