Drilled and threw the Dark Legend last night during league. Great looking ball. 4.5" pin to pap, pin down. Roughly 50 x 4.5 x 60 just eye balling the angles.

This is a lot of ball, more then I expected. Gives me the reaction I was wanting. Was in playing a little deeper then expected to start and moved in further as the night went on pretty quickly. Ball has good length and really digs in and makes a strong move down lane. Fist BW ball so I can't compare it to any of the others. I like what I have seen so far.

I agree I have one drilled  pin above bridge, I like this one alot more than the original Legend has more midlane and more continuous I was surprised  and very impressed with the motion

How does the Dark Legend compare or relate to the Bad Intentions Hybrid?

I have just gotten back into bowling after a long break. Ive ordered an all Hammer line: BI Hybrid, BWDL, BW Assassin, and Skulz. This should be sufficient for league and tournaments.

I'm definitely looking for a comparison between the Warrior Elite and the Scandal, if not between the Warrior and the Scandal.

I was about to pull the trigger on the Warrior Elite, but am wondering on if I get both, if I should slot the Scandal below the Elite, and if there would be any overlap between them.

Has anyone who has thrown both have a feel for how those three would stack up against eachother?

I would slot the Scandal above the Elite and the Warrior below the elite.  The biggest difference is not the overall hook but when they hook.  I also listed these from earliest to longest.

according to the demo days I was at a few months ago, the Scandal is the biggest hooking ball ever produced by them
It comes 2000 dull I believe and that is what was on it for demo days
I have above average hand and I had to be 20 or deeper to use it on a house shot
add some polish and it would be better for ME..
I already have the Paradox - so i do not need another heavy oiler ball
If I didn't have that, I would definitely get a Scandal

TheOtherTomJones - The Dark Legend is more angular down the lane than the Bad Intentions Hybrid, and it is a different type of motion. The BI Hybrid is a tad rolly compared to the Dark Legend... The Dark Legend is the closest reaction to the original Black Widow... I LOVE this ball compared to the recent Legends...

Bradl - the motion between the Scandal & Warrior Elite are different. the Warrior Elite for me gets down the lane a little cleaner and stronger down the lane than the Scandal. The Scandal hooks earlier and still reads the mids & strong backend continuation down the lane... Scandal is a WOW ball motion - about 3 boards stronger than the Paradox for me, which is amazing to see!

Hope this helps...

This definitely helps. This gives me the choice of cleaner through the heads or earlier rolling on the fresh, ball down to the Warrior when the lanes start to transition, and leaves my BWRL for the medium/drier conditions. I'm liking that.

Thanks!

had my dark drilled this morning.  threw it first game in league tonight had 258 with 2 ringing ten pins.  the condition might have been a little to heavy at first but this ball rolled great very smooth and really hit hard.
