Get rid of some excess product. Overseas distributors get low weight stuff special runs more then I would have expected.

I had a "Track Synergy ETS" overseas ball released years after the original. It was a Columbia Scout,  exact color and finish when compared side by side. Even emailed Track about it and the response was its "similar" to a Columbia scout…  I sold it ASAP.

Easy way to make some additional sales. Many times on overseas releases they change the name and color and box finish but leave everything else the same.

When Thomas was still with 900G, he said the 11 lb international stuff was for the "spinner" release bowlers.

That makes sense.. drive and strong continuation through the pins isn't the type of reaction spinners have nor need.
