First Impressions-Legends Masterpiece
« on: October 18, 2007, 08:38:44 AM »
Wow.

We've all had a ball that's held a special place in our hearts and minds based on the first few sets we threw with a particular ball.  Endless high flush offerings with little or doubt about the result after it's off of your hands.  That's exactly what the first few games have been the my new Masterpiece.  It alomst has a "homing beacon" type of approach to the pocket.  Ok, ok. I know what you're thinking.  A THS lends this type of reaction to a lot of shots or different pieces of equipment.  It's what hppens after the ball hits the pocket.  Shrapnel, messengers, angry pin boys due to the pins being ejected from the pin deck.  It's really fun.

Nice John....I had one but didn't lay it out correctly for what I wanted and a bit stronger than I thought it would be.  With your ball speed you'll love it no doubt.

I longingly looked at a Sting tonite at my pro shop.  Bit longish pin and a heavy 15 midweight <15.6>.  I want one!

My Sting is a flat out BEAST.
Low flaring, consistent, balances the mid-lane and backend perfectly, yet still somewhat angular at the break.
Best of all worlds.
The hit is jaw dropping!!!
