I seem to have noticed a trend at my main house.....I am leaving the 4 Pin a ton it seems even with different balls. It just stands there like a soldier looking at me!

I understand that it's a high hit for a righty, but man my eyes must be bad because I am just not seeing that bad of a pocket hit.

At another house recently I tripped the 4 out a few times late as my guess this is about the only way to do so other a better pocket hit.

I keep stats, and at my main house I have left 110 out of 180 games and the other house if have left 18/63 or about 2 times less.

So thoughts on the 4 pin please....entry angle, rotation ?????? Trying to learn

Thanks

My house goes a little further with some of the dry/fresh backends as a righty seeing several stone 7s. As in watching the headpin come off the side wall and go in front of the 7 pin. Yes I said in front of it.

I opted for a ball with a 2-2.5" pin to pap with surface at 1000 to 2000 in finish. Ball bleeds off energy sooner and is not as jumpy downlane. Carry on the 4 pin and 7 pin increased.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Line up for light to medium pocket hits, when the 4 pin starts to be slow to go down, move.  --  JohnP

Usually If I am leaving 6 pins in practice it is going to be a good night!
