Is the 74 Response Pearl by 900 Global simply a clone of AMF's F74 Hybrid cover (but without the solid component)?
Wondering how close these covers would be to each other (pearl to pearl, hybrid to hybrid, etc.)?
Thanks.

I assumed it was the storm additive..

I thought F74 and 74 response were the same covers but I could be wrong.
-
Any 900 Global or AMF Reps that can state definitively here?

Billdozer is correct. When 900 Global had their high performance balls poured in Utah, we didn't use SXX on these balls. We used a number then had alert, response and dig behind them. Basically it was the storm additive in the cover. Now, 900 Global's plant can do it all. So basically all of our covers will use the same product as Storm uses. Cover additives will be different, but urethane base will come from the same place. Hope this helps.

So does that mean f74 is now the same as response 74?

It may be close, the only problem is the last time we used F74 was with the Pure Adrenaline which was poured last year. I would say look at our newer ones going forward to be closer. Great Escape has a new F80 solid cover. This ball is also 3 colors which means the 900 Global plant has been upgraded to do 3 color bowling balls since the Dream Big Pearl and Respect Solid. So if a new AMF ball comes out now with an F74 coverstock, it may be close to the 74 response cover found on the Respect Pearl.

Would love to see a vid or 2 of the great escape. I'm actually favoring that ball over the inception.

My mistake. I thought the Escape used F74.

Great Escape has F80 on it. Escape has f74 hybrid.
