They did a great job with re-vamping the website.  And the new balls look very nice as well.

You know I'm not a huge Global fan (not against it either, to be clear) but this is in my opinion the best looking bowling ball they've made. I like the looks of the core too. I might buy this one.

New website is pretty nice looking! New balls are very impressive. Any chance we can get the archive added back? The same thing happened when AMF re-did their website. It didn't come back. Other than that, its very nice on the eyes.

Did 900G have 3 color capabilities pre Storm buyout?

With a cover stock with the word Dig in it, I would imagine it MIGHT be a bit early lol.

I was enlightened in another thread that it was a buyout. Storm took over the plant nonetheless explaining why they can now do tri colors. Sorry for any confusion.

From what I've heard both the moxie and dream were poured in Utah. Makes sense because of the ability to pour 3 colors. And also the naming of the covers. I would have to believe that the moxie cover is similar to a nano hybrid.....just speculating that tho. The s74 on the bank roll needed oil super bad for me can only imagine a dig 78 is quite a bit stronger even with a weaker core.

My understanding is that it was that Storm has majority share of the MANUFACTURING side of Global. They were paying so much per ball for them to be produced that they wanted to buy in. Makes sense with all of the balls recently that they pushed back their release date.

Also explains the 1500 polished finish on the Dream.....I think while 900 Global will remain kind of its own entity I think there will be a lot of storm influence and they are essentially a Storm company now. I think the people working for 900 Global will be running a lot of what goes on but storm will have enough influence that you will see a somewhat different company than we saw before storm became primary stock holder....

Robert Smith drilled the Moxie test ball, along with the others. It rolled out by the arrows. I got to roll the five new releases and the Moxie didn't do much. It rolled up and died half way down the lane for me. We were talking, in his new shop, and he said I could do whatever with the Moxie as it was terrible for him. I polish the hell out of it. Rolled it in league. With polish, this thing came alive and gave me a better reaction down lane. For anyone with revs, the Moxie would need a lot of polish in my opinion.

This is exactly what I was afraid of with this ball

The polyester Pows! are tri-color. Would those also have been poured in Utah? I know a lot of people involved are being tight-lipped and not forthcoming with information. Leaves a lot of room for speculation. I'm hopeful that as the season nears we get some definitive information on the who, what, where and why. Just my .02 cents.
