900 Global will be sold online finally!!

Yes, its true I will start to sell 900 global balls online on my www.juniorsproshop.com website soon to be completed.

Products will be for sale worldwide with the exception of the USA. Sorry, still can't sell it in the states. However we will be providing competitive pricing for the entire 900 Global line for the rest of the world. Shipping to europe, Asia, and Canada will be offered.

Its a bit of a teaser post but I had to do it. I've been sitting on this for nearly a month.

In my area the Break Line sells for $145 undrilled, and $175 drilled.  Then the pro shop owner gives me $15 off, since I help him out when he needs help.  Well that and I'm the only one in my area using 900 Global Line.

Jls,the most Ive paid for a ball was about 110$shipped to my door.The average I pay is around 75-80$ shipped.I really like the way the Break pearl is set up so I would consider paying 110$ for it.Usually with most balls you can wait for a few months till thier not the hot item anymore an save alot of money.Most people want the new 300 ball that they see some pro use.New today is old news next week

Just an example....Just got a Morich levrg for 84$ shipped.Will drill it wed. for my pba exper. league on friday.The ball should be as good as when it first came out,but not the hot ball now.Also trying morich again.Didnt have good luck with the first one a few yrs ago,which was probibly me(I drilled it).Got drilling spec's sraight from morich this time.

Well I understand,  but you are comaparing a closeout to a brand new model.

That is what Mega May would do.  Sure that is a good price,  but how old is the ball???

The Taylormade Tour Burner driver is selling for $299.  I am sure if I wait another year or so, it will be $149.  And if you wait a little longer the ball you just got will be even less.

But I thought you said you and some of your friends wanted to try a new top line ball from Global.  I guess I thought you meant a current model.

In the last few weeks I have sold 4 or 5 of their new ball, the Break S75.  One Bowler has allready won big bucks with it!!!!!  In other words,  he has paid for that ball allready, many times over.  Kinda sorta thinking he is glad he didn't wait two years for it to be on closeout.

You know jls,it comes down to 900 global runs their company how they think is best.Which only they know whats best for them.And I spend my money how I wish,thats what makes this nation great an one day I will put some holes in a shiny new Break pearl an will love how it goes down the lane

All I am saying is this,  if you go online and buy any new top line current ball,  you will pay about $125-$145 undrilled.  As you now can see, you can buy a global top line ball for about the same price undrilled.  So what is the problem.

However you are comparing a brand new model from Global to an old disc. model from Morich.  That to me is unfair.  Of course the old disc. model will be less.  But your right, spend your money anyway you want.

But to bash Global for selling something that you can indeed buy at just about the same price as any other NEW top line ball undrilled,  is unfair.

Now bowl well with your disc. Morich ball.

BTW,  we sell more Global's in our shop compare to the OVERPRICE new current model Morich balls.

Newguy,  I am seeing more and more of this. Sales reps from some of the other ball companies are feeling the heat.  If little shops like mine are selling 10-15 -20 Globals or more a month,  that's 10-15-20 less of their brands.  And times that by hundreds and hundreds of shops,  and it adds up.

Keep up the great work Phil, Eric, Dale, Sue.

BTW,  my dist. is now taking orders on Global balls.

wow, you guys are thin skinned. jls you are right, dude, i am in my 3rd year of law school and i dont know it all yet, but i am very interested. thats why i look on here every once in awhile. i didnt mean to hurt your feelings when i said MOST of the global balls are copies, heck, almost all balls anymore are copies. i simply agreed with the poster that said he would wait for prices to go down, they are still brand new balls. back to class now.

I agree with Phil's selling policy completely. I get tired of people bringing in balls they bought online for less than we pay for them  and we buy hundreds to their one a year. The quality and performance of all the balls he has been a part of in the past all speak for themselves and i would expect nothing less from him now or in the future.

Excellent points sir,  however I do see the consumers point of view here also. Most don't  know that many times in the past they have bought balls online at or below actual pro shop cost.  Now with Ebonite's new policy,  some of that has changed.  So far today I have drilled 4 outside balls. Sure we would love to have sold them the ball,  but we still got paid for the drilling.

I have said in the past that I as a pro shop would have no problem if Global ever decided to sell their balls online.  Hopefully if that ever happened, they would follow Ebonite's lead and pricing program.  I also was in favor of them selling to dist.  as well as directly to pro shops.

Their product is first class,  those that buy will benefit from it. And those
that want to only buy balls on a super deal,  will never know what their missing.  

I always hear two things,  real bowlers don't put their name on the ball,  and real bowlers only care about how much money they can win with their new ball, not how pretty it looks or how good it smells.

But on this site we see a lot of the "global does not sell online so I won't buy one"  crap.  I really think that many times it is another companies reps doing this bashing.  

Once again,  excellent job by the whole staff at Global.
