Ball comparisons...
« on: April 24, 2013, 01:51:42 PM »
Haven't seen too many 900 global balls thrown around here, basically just have forum posts and videos to go off of. Anyway, I'm looking to replace my T-road Pearl soon, which is one of my favorite balls of all time. I have it pin down and drilled stronger than any other ball I own. It's so smooth, predictable, and continuous on medium/light oil and when the lanes start to transition. I kinda want to try some other companies since Storm hasn't worked out too well for me otherwise. I want to replace that reaction if I can, and noticed a lot of the low/mid range 900 global balls have similar core numbers. How would the Wisdom, Jewel, Rip-it, and/or Hook's compare to the T-road Pearl? Are all of those balls that drastically different from each other? Which would be best?

For what it's worth my revs and speed are pretty well matched, both on the lower side of things. Track is also fairly low. Thanks

The Wisdom will be the smooth/predictable reaction that you are looking for. The Rip/It is more flippy on the back end of the pattern. I have both and have no complants to be honest.

I would also say the Green/Black Hook ball. this is another great ball that's under rated :)  There are a few that would work for what you want the ball to do.  The Favorite - longshot or Maniac  would be other great picks, even the missing link might be something to think about :) some of these older balls are much harder to come by now though. the Mark Roth ball would work as well.. this is just a few to think about :)  good luck in which ever 1 you pick. you wont go wrong for sure  8)
If you want it, go after it and make it happen.  If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself....or maybe your just not throwing the right equipment  :)
