Bank vs. Raw Profit
« on: January 27, 2011, 02:09:41 AM »
How do these 2 balls differ from each other?  Is there enough of a difference to warrant having both in the bag?  I am looking for the difference in ball motion, what type of patterns do they shine on, and where are the strengths of each ball on the lane against the other?

I have my Bank pin under bridge with the mb about 2.5 inches from the center grip line.  I have a Break Out with a similar drilling, just he pin is moved under the ring finger.  For me the Bank is about 4 and 2 stronger then the Break Out.

My RP has more motion off the spot compared to my Bank.  My BO and RP are closer to each other when doing a side by side.  I would classify Bank as a heavy condition ball while RP and BO could be used med to heavy.  Hope this helps.

I don't own any of those but did try it on demo. they are very close in Hook. To me the Bank earlier and RP is few more feet but seems to hook more.

As stated above for me the Raw Profit has a much stronger motion at the break point. The Bank is earlier and smoother making it much more predictable. I have not thrown mine side by side but am comparing them in the same house in the same league and our shot has been pretty consistent. I've actually polished my Bank now as i feel it was burning up slightly. But to be honest since i got the RP i have not taken the Bank to league with me since. I pretty much have been using my Raw Profit/Profit combo. If polishing the Bank works for more general use i will drill another for tournaments otherwise I will just put this one back to OB and relegate it to my tournament bag
