Bounty Hunter Pearl

Just got to throw it in league for the first time. Drilled about 4 3/4 x 3 1/2. House doesn't have a ton of volume but decent length about 42'. To give you an idea the BH rolled out at this house for me. And was playing a similar line as I would with my Break solid.

I threw the ball like crap in practice and first game (just couldn't get consistent hand position), struggled to get lined up with it at first. And the ball was a little too lengthy for the first game (I think it might have just been me). Probably looking back should have moved my feet to 25 instead of 27.

But about half way through 2nd game I started throwing the ball much better and they had opened up a just enough. Got tapped in the 4th (4 pin),5th (8-pin),6th (10 pin), and 7th (4-pin) frames. Struck in the eighth threw it bad and left 3,6,10 and in the 9th and struck out in the tenth with a minor ball speed adjustment still with my feet at 27.

Third game is where the ball really shined. Staying with my adjustment from the 10th I could have easily thrown a 300. It gave me a strong move off the I was playing around 8 at the breakpoint and if I hit around 5 the ball was smooth enough to not overreact like a typical pearl(for me). Hit around 10 and it had enough pop on it to take the 10 out which is usually an issue with pearls for me. Only miss of the game was a half pocket mixer that threw a couple pins at the 10 and could only manage to make it wobble in the 8th.

Overall the ball gave me the length I needed to get through the lighter volume in the heads but yet was strong enough to get started in a longer pattern. The best thing was that it kept the length throughout the night and didn't get too much sideways in the back. This really kept the ball reaction from causing the 9-pin syndrome I usually experience with a typical pearl. So far I am really impressed, just need to see if it was the ball not handling the oil the first game or me throwing it like crap.
