Break-out vs Black Eagle
« on: March 04, 2012, 11:26:32 AM »
I know they are supposed to be same ball, but does anyone currently have both that can compare. I have the Break-out and just purchased a Black Eagle and would like some feed back before punching.

Thanks

I have seen the Black Eagle is a tad stronger than my Break Out.  Still very good ball.

Hoselrockets,    Are both of your balls drilled the same ? You say the Black Eagle is a bit stronger, earlier or more on the back ?  Thanks for the reply.

Just drilled up the black eagle. I have a break point pearl, and a bank pearl, and find the black eagle to be stronger on the back end. All are drilled very similar so comparison is easy.

All are set up to arc instead of snap. Pin under. Can't carry 10 pins if you have to move inside and throw a big swing. (due to set up) When I can play straighter up the outside, the black eagle hits like a truck.

Yes drill the same with the same surface.  Black Eagle is a tad sooner.

Thanks for the replies. Love my Breakout reaction until I get chased inside. I start losing the hit and leave corners. Hoping to put the Black Eagle in this spot. May have to tweak surface, but do not want to change surface on Breakout cause it is really good on the fresh. I have the Breakout at 500/1000 and light polish. May have to give the NEAT pads a try too.
