Break Pearl - BTM rating
« on: April 28, 2008, 04:09:48 AM »
I noticed that BTM gave the Break pearl a 10 rating (for med-oil, tweener)

I've checked the past data and it seems this is the first time a '10' has been awarded.

Looks like I will HAVE to get one then!

Ebonite SR300 received a '10' as well, IIRC for the med-oil tweener, too.

Wow! I wasn't aware the SR300 received this rating as well.  I must say that I've thrown both of the balls and the Break Pearl is better.  I've been able to use it on a much wider variety of conditions.  If I'm not mistaking, the SR300 didn't stay in Ebonite's line very long?

No, it didnt. I dont think it sold all that well. At the time I think it was over shadowed by the One's. I thought it was a GREAT ball myself and I liked it better than anything Big E had out at the time.

seen the ball today in another bowlers hand on med-dry lanes with a flip drilling and the ball seems to be money! the guy played at least a 225 average with it on drier lanes.... nice!
