Break Point pearl factory finish
« on: December 10, 2009, 10:29:28 AM »
OK I screwed up. I was having a terrible consistency problem with my BPP on our house shot. So I tried sanding the ball with 2000 Abralon. Just went straight. Tried polish, same thing. Now 500 with polish, terrible.

I think I am burning the polish in too much. But how do I get the great movement this ball originally had back?

Thanks.

Ok, just as I thought, too much polish. Tried it again, no luck. Then lightly scuffed the surface with a green scotch brite by hand. Now it looks more like OOB.

How do I polish a ball and not have this problem? I barely used a dime size of FF on two sides.
