Chemical X
« on: May 31, 2015, 11:46:39 AM »
Anybody had a chance to throw the Chemical X yet.Looks like a very smooth rolling ball.Which is what I like on conditions I see around the south.Lots of friction around here pearls are way to flippy.

Drilled mine this past week and really wanted to compare it to the Favorite and King Cobra (remake). It definitely will be very comparable to those two previously mentioned. Not a ball that is going to jump off the dry. Very predictable and smooth. The way it goes through the pins and keeps them low is second to none. I used it on the white #2 pattern yesturday (after 3-4 games of practice the day before) and this was the ball of choice. Went 246, 232, 223 for 701. I moved a whole 3 boards left the whole set. The day before in practice, I found that I was able to square up and play down and in or move left and swing it a bit. Not a huge out, but it does have some recovery. It will easily be a THS killer and a very good tournament type condition ball. You can pretty much say first ball out of the bag benchmark type ball. Yet still allows you to be able to throw it even when the heads break down. This is what I was hoping for in our line. If you never had a chance to get a hold of a Favorite, then this is your golden opportunity.

You can't prymy King Cobra out of my hands. Ball is a hidden gem. If I need control, its the ball to use. If I ever retire that, Chem X is in the bag. Or I just find another Kong Cobra lol.

I hear you on that one Doom. I too still have my King Cobra and a NIB one. The Chemical X is a joy to throw! I absolutely loved the Favorite and the Chemical X is pretty much the same ball. I think after the 7 games with it this weekend at our state tournament and averaging 231 with it, I think I am hooked! I think you could easily retire the King Cobra and replace it with a Chemical X.

This ball is a beast on fresh oil or when the lanes start to break down, I stayed with mine with only making minor ajustments with my feet moving left.  didnt have to move but 2 boards left all night with my Chemical X drilled  37 X 5.5 X 30 I saw just over 6" of flare on my Chemical X..  Ill give more feedback after I get some more games on it, only have 3 so far.. I can say it was out hook a lot of big name balls and it turned a few more heads after a 247 to start the night  and a 270 to finish the night with a 817 set to boot  :).  This ball is all that and then some and for its price how could anyone go wrong with it?  They can't!!!!    even me throwing the ball over 18.0 MPH this ball still makes it back with ease.  another well developed ball from 900 Global  Thanks #TeamGlobal

If you want it, go after it and make it happen.  If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself....or maybe your just not throwing the right equipment  :)

Is there a big difference between the Chemical X and Break Down ?

There is a difference between the Chemical X and the break Down.  I see the break down hooking more on the backend of the lanes  and that's with both balls coming out of box finish.  The 2 balls would make a great 1 2 punch in almost anyone's bag these days

I too see the Break Down and Chemical X making a good 1 - 2 combo. After about 4 or 5 games on the Chemical X, the ball came alive. There was definitely more pickup in the midlane and a bit more backend move. As the lanes transitioned and the Chemical X began to read too early, I was easily able to pick up the Break Down and continue to play where I left off with the Chemical X. I agree the Break Down has more punch downlane comparatively. Chemical X easily fills the gap between the Break Down and Boost. I wasn't a huge fan of the All Day, so the Chemical X was much needed for me in my arsenal. The Chemical X is the one I was anticipating the most in the fall releases.
