Comparisons between two balls.
« on: December 28, 2012, 07:42:32 AM »
I am thinking of upgrading from my Break s-75 to either a Raw Profit or the Look. The rg and the differentials are fairly close, the cover finish is the same, but looking at videos of the two from both the left side and right side bowlers, the RP looks alot stronger off the break and more continuous. I would like to hear what y'all have to say about either/both. Thx, Robert.

Not ever having a Raw Profit, I can only compare the Look to the S-75. I have both with the same layouts and I will say the Look is for me is stronger. Earlier and stronger on the backend. I know it sounds crazy, but that is what I see from the two. I have never had a Nuts Solid or Pearl, but the Look with the Nuts core is an absolute monster. For me S-75 is more skid/snap and Look is strong, strong arch. I hope this helps steer you in the right direction.

I have both drilled identical. Raw Profit is my words is violent off the break were as my Look is smoother if you can picture my description.

My Look replaced my RP. If you want to buy just pay shipping. I really don't want to leave on the rack.....9

I have had all 3 and for me this is he result. I am a tweener with average revs. All balls were drilled pin up to get the ball down the lane because most of my stuff tends to hook early because of my release. My s75 has just. Touch of polish and it rolls and finishes strong but I will mention that if there is carry down it wants to skid a bit to much. If the backends are clean the finish on the backend is almost to strong. The Raw Profit also has a little polish and with that it skids through the heads starts to roll through the mids and finishes a little weaker than the  S75. The Look for me seemed to skid forever. The only time I could get it to work was down and in on fresh. I still have the S75 and use it all the time even though it must have  200 games on it and I use the Raw Profit when my other balls won't carry. Out of all the balls 900 Global has made I still like my original Break the best and I will continue to use it until it cracks in half.

The S75 is one of the 900's I didn't roll. However, right now the Look is my go to ball for house conditions and I have over 30 900/AMF balls in my arsenal. This is a very nice ball and carry is great as usual. I would recommend it for anyone's arsenal.

IMO, the Look may look stronger due to the number of boards covered late, higher rg core. The S-75 had a very low rg core, therefore rolled earlier.
