Curious about NEAT pads
« on: September 19, 2011, 06:13:08 AM »
How many 9G fans are using the NEAT pads. I haven't been sold yet., but sitting back and waiting to see if they are just a another sales gimmick or actually a better mouse trap.

Since they're more than 2x the price of the equivalent Siaair or Abralon pad, with no advantage except, potentially, that of appearance, I won't be trying them any time soon, until they come way down in price and availability.

tossed all my abralon pads out except for my 500 abbby for a full redurface job. will be only using NEAT pads from now on. leave a great finish on the ball and cut very well.

NEAT pads take less time, more durable, last longer than abralon, I have tossed all abralon pads with exception of some old ones I use under the NEAT pads.

How much longer than abralon do they last? I usually get 4 uses maybe 5 from an abralong pad.

min of 2x maybe more, still have original pads not showing any wear yet, but I use a ton of water as not to let them load up.

For those of you using these, are any of you using them on the new style Haus? The Haus uses a 6" wheel so I was wondering how the 5" NEAT pads work....
