Dirty Look vs Rip-It
« on: March 16, 2013, 11:24:31 AM »
Has anyone here had a chance to compare these two balls? If so, what are your thoughts and observations? I'm debating whether to pick up another Dirty Look or giving the Rip-It a go when it's released.

Thanks!

I would think that the Dirty Look is going to be stronger off the spot than the Rip-it. Stronger cover, more diff. I could see having both in the bag.

I see the rip it being much cleaner. The one knock i have on the dirty look is it trends to read the mids a little early when the break down even when i move deep causing me to make bigger moves. Could see this being a perfect compliment for the DL when the dirty look starts reading too soon.

I've noticed my Dirty Look even polished pick up a little too early in the mid-lane when the lanes start breaking down also. I may just get another Dirty Look, to go along with another Freight Train I got, and I'll add the Rip-It as a step down for lighter THS/short oil sport patterns! lol

I have thrown them both and I myself think the Rip/IT is much cleaner off the spot for me and the 3 other people that have thrown them both in league play on a sports shot.  I dont get to throw my Dirty LOOK much because I have 4 other pearl balls in my bag id much rather throw on that spot shot they put out there for us :) ( The Bank of 900 -Break Pearl- Rip/IT - Pure Hook )
If you want it, go after it and make it happen.  If you don't, you have no one to blame but yourself....or maybe your just not throwing the right equipment  :)

i have thrown both the dirty look and the tip it and the dl gives me little more length with more backend reaction (sharper) but the rip it is much smoother off the spot and much more readable as lanes change but a good go to ball when break down occurs and to me not a physical move just ball change typically i could start with dirty look and when heads start to go i can just ball down to the Rip it and play the lanes the same.
If it is worth doing then do it right.
